Birthday Girl! Including a sketch!!!
This is a layout of my little Jazzy when she turned 1 year old. The borders on the left and right edges of the photo mat are actually patterned paper in which I cut around the design to create the borders. I inserted tiny orange brads in the centers of the flowers on the right hand border to pull in some of the orange color from the rest of the layout. I LOVE to distress papers on my layouts! My favorite inks to use are the Quick Quotes chalk inks..they have so many colors to choose from and you can swipe on the ink straight from the ink pad!

Third Child
Jasmine was somewhat of a surprise to us. Clint and I had only been married for 3 months and we found out that we were pregnant! Here's a layout that explains my emotions during that time. And just look at that head full of hair on Jasmine!! The journaling reads:
Who would have thought that I would become a mother once again? Having a 13 year old, 11 year old, and new husband – those looking in from the outside would probably think that my life was complete. But then it happened; three months after Clint and I were married I found out I was pregnant. A plethora of emotions overwhelmed me…how will my other two children react, how will we afford another child, will we need a bigger house, where will we find daycare, how will I find time to care for another child…and the list goes on. But somehow the worries seemed to fade away and I became consumed with preparing for your arrival. This was a defining moment in my life..at the age of 36, for the third time in my life, I was to become a mother once again. I am so very blessed.

Hi! And welcome to my first post!!!
This will be a blog to share my everyday musing about my family and the things that I love!!! First of all..introductions. I have a beautiful family which consists of 3 children..Luke (16), Hannah (14), Jasmine (or Jazzy 3) and hubby Clint. You'll see alot on here about my children and my obsession with scrapbooking!! I've been "scrappin" for over 15 years and simply LOVE everything about it.
Scrapbooking is my “ME” time. I love being able to sit down and create something and not think about everything on my “to do” list. As a mother of 3, it seems that I am always running someone here or there or attending some sort of school/kid function. Scrapbooking let’s me relax and celebrate life’s precious moments and it brings me joy to see my children look at the layouts that I have created and reminisce about these moments from their past.
